Ghanian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has openly threatening to assault his critics and media pundits and encouraging his massive fan base to do the same.

Speaking during a live TikTok session, the musician issued a series of warnings to people he described as “critics” and “media pundits.”

“We’re going to beat you,” he declared. “Allow the fans to beat them. They will beat them and they will lock them. They have to be beaten like slaves.”

Shatta Wale also waded Ghana’s historical past, placing the blame for colonization squarely on the nation’s ancestors rather than the European colonizers.

“The white people weren’t wicked… it is our people who were foolish,” he said.

He further amplified his self-proclaimed importance, claiming he operates on a divine level and is above reproach or change.

“I’m like God. I don’t change for anybody.”
