Capital City Africa Cup undergoes last-Minute changes due to Kotoko visa issues

The Capital City Africa Cup, scheduled for October 12, 2024, at Audi Field, has undergone changes due to visa issues preventing Asante Kotoko’s participation.

In replacement, a new team, “Ghana Week DC Select Side”, will represent Ghana, comprising seven Kotoko players, two from Attram De Visser FC, and other top Ghanaian players in the US.

This event, organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority and Ghana Football Association, aims to showcase Ghana’s rich cultural heritage and promote unity through sports.

The match between D.C. United and the Ghana Week DC Select Side promises to be an exciting cultural celebration, kicking off at 6 p.m.
