Black Queens Head Coach, Kim Lars Björkegren, has named a twenty-four-woman squad for Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against the England Lionesses.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.

It forms part of England’s Homecoming Series, organised to celebrate their Euro 2025 triumph.

The encounter will mark the first-ever senior meeting between the Black Queens and the Lionesses.

Björkegren’s squad features a blend of experience and emerging talent.

Regulars such as captain Portia Boakye, Evelyn Badu, Doris Boaduwaa and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah have all been included.

Anasthesia Achiaa also returns to bolster the defence, while Bénédicte Simon of Servette Genève FC has earned her debut call-up.

The fixture will also serve as a key preparatory test for the Black Queens as they build momentum towards the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, set for March next year.
