Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team has launched a mobile application named “Bawumia Nation”.

Bawumia Nation is a volunteer-driven online app designed to connect individuals who share a common goal of supporting Dr. Bawumia’s bid for the presidency in Ghana’s 2024 general elections. It enables people to actively participate in the campaign, regardless of their location.

Leading the launch on Friday, September 27, at the University of Ghana, Dr. Augustine Blay, the Executive Secretary to the Vice President and Head of the Digital Campaign Team for the Bawumia For President 2024 Campaign, urged Ghanaians to download the app and create an account, emphasizing that many rewards await those who sign up and invite others.

“Be part of Bawumia Nation by downloading the app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Follow the prompts to sign in, create an account and profile, and recruit twelve people (who are referred to as citizens of Bawumia Nation, making you their Prefect) to join your network by encouraging them to download the app and enter your Member ID as their referral code. Encourage them to also recruit twelve people to become citizens of Bawumia Nation, and from there, the cycle continues, thereby expanding the Bawumia Nation network,” he said.

“You also stand a chance to win badges and tokens that you can redeem as you help the network grow. Connect with other citizens, engage your friends at any time, and network with others to campaign together to ensure that Dr. Bawumia wins the upcoming election,” he added.

The 2024 general elections promise to be a highly contested battle, as the NPP aims to make history by “breaking the 8,” while former President John Mahama seeks a return to the presidency.
