Black Stars’ head coach, Chris Hughton has released Ghana’s squad list for the final round of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Twenty-five players have been called to camp for the crunchy encounter with their fellow african opponent.

The Black Stars must draw against Central Africa Republic on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in order to qualify for the forthcoming AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire next year.

There is a maiden call up for Medeama SC striker Jonathan Sowah. After making the switch from Danbort FC in the second transfer window,  the forward player scored 12 goals to help Medeama win the Betpawa Premier League title.
