As the second semester kicks into gear at the University of Ghana, students are already buzzing with excitement, not just for academics, but for the entertainment experiences that lie ahead.
In interviews with Univers Entertainment, several students expressed high expectations for campus events, singling out Havana 2.0, the flagship entertainment week hosted by Pentagon Hall, as the most anticipated.
According to them, while academic responsibilities remain important, the semester wouldn’t be complete without the social vibrance that events like Havana bring to campus life.
So this semester, we are looking for an improvement in our academics. We want to also partake in all the activities that will be going on on the campus, especially the Pent Hall week engagement. We have to partake in all of them. a level 100 male student shared.
Taking notice of how fully packed, especially next month, is going to be. I can’t wait for it, though. I am looking forward to Penr hall week, why not? Yes, and personally, my hostel’s week, that’s the TF hostel. another female level 100 student expressed.
I can’t exactly picture what it’s going to look like, but I know it’s going to be a very amazing experience. I can say, looking at thepacked events from all departments and events being organised by other institutions,that I’m just looking at fun. What will make me happy and also make me feel relieved? You know, whenever it’s a whole week, you know it’s just one, of course, it is the Pent Hall. Havana 2.0. Yeah,I’m looking forward to some amazing moments, getting to meet new people and having fun, and shaking my body.
Havana 2.0 is scheduled to run from June 1st to June 7th, promising a week filled with music, dance, games and cultural showcases that celebrate student creativity and unity.
Known for its energy and campus-wide appeal, the Havana Experience has become one of the most talked-about events on UG’s social calendar, drawing hundreds of students from across halls and faculties.
As the countdown begins, all eyes are on Pentagon Hall to deliver an unforgettable experience that once again raises the bar for campus entertainment.
