2025 AFCON Q: Black Stars hold first training session ahead of Sudan Clash

With their crunch tie against Sudan coming up, the Black stars of Ghana have begun  training ahead of their game against Sudan.

Currently 11 players namely:Jojo Wollacott,Frederick Asare, Isaac Afful,Elisha Owusu,Gideon Mensah,Mohammed Kudus,Mohammed Salisu, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Antoine Semenyo and Fatawu Issahaku Jordan Ayew .

The rest of the players are expected to join the camp tonight before today’s training session.

The Ghana Football Association has also announced that Thomas Partey,Joseph Painstil,Kingsley Schindler,Osman Ibrahim
have been ruled out of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan due to injuries they picked up over the weekend.

In light of this,Michael Baidoo, Abu Francis, Jonas Adjetey and Ibrahim Sadick have been called up by Otto Addo for Ghana’s crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

Coach Otto Addo’s team are yet to pick up a win in the Morocco 2025 AFCON Qualifiers and would be looking forward to do so against Sudan who have lost only one competitive game this year.
