Samartex and Nsoatreman FC, experienced a disheartening exit from the African inter-club competitions, with both teams being ousted from their tournaments on Saturday.
Nsoatreman, were kicked out of the CAF Confederation Cup following their 1-0 defeat to Constantine.
The first leg in Ghana ended 2-0 in favor of the away side at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Meanwhile,FC Samartex’s CAF Champions League campaign came to an end on Saturday after a 2-0 defeat to Raja Casablanca, eliminating them from the competition with a 4-2 aggregate score.
The Nsoatre-based side and the Samreboi based side were hopeful of replicating the successes of Dreams FC and Medeama SC last season who reached the “money zone”.
Both clubs will now switch attention to their domestic competitions.
