UG organises ‘Open Day’ to explore future of prospective students

The University of Ghana is extending a warm invitation to prospective students, parents, guardians and the general public to their maiden ‘Open Day’ Program.

‘Open Day’ program is a pioneering initiative, introduced by the University of Ghana’s 66th Student Representative Council administration, aimed at guiding students aspiring to earn their degrees at the University of Ghana.

In a statement released and signed by the Student Representative Council (SRC) President, Frank Tsikata, revealed that this move presents an exceptional chance to the general public to interact with  faculties, students, and acquire firsthand knowledge regarding the diverse programs offered in the University, admission prerequisites, and other pertinent matters.

The Open Day Program is scheduled to happen on Thursday, 2nd and Friday, 3rd November, 2023 at the UG Sports Complex, Legon Campus between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Moreover, the program is set to climax with a tour to Korle Bu Campus for applicants interested in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences as well as a comprehensive tour of Legon Campus for students interested in the other programs and Courses.

UG SRC is calling on all prospective students to seize this opportunity and embark on their academic journey at the University of Ghana.
