The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that first-year Senior High School (SHS) students for the 2024-2025 academic year will commence their lessons on Friday, September 27.
In a statement released on Monday, July 15, the GES urged parents and school administrators to ensure that students are prepared and ready for the upcoming school year.
The statement further clarified that the first semester for these first-year SHS students will conclude on December 6, and all other scheduled activities and programmes for the semester will proceed as planned without any changes.
The GES emphasized the importance of parents and school administrators paying close attention to the start of the new academic year and making the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth transition for the incoming first-year SHS students.
