Ghana’s U20 Team face a challenging group stage at the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship, starting with a match against host nation Togo, followed by games against Niger and Benin in Group A.

The team aims to secure a top-two finish and qualify for the Africa U20 Championship, having missed out since their 2021 victory in Mauritania.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is grouped with Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast in Group B.

The Black Satellites have been preparing intensively, including a European tour and friendlies against Legon Cities and SMAC, as they bid to make a successful return to the tournament, which takes place from October 17 to 31, 2024
