‎The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, has reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships as a strategic path to national development and global relevance.

‎Speaking at the official launch of the University of Ghana–Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Junior Chamber (UG-GNCCI), Professor Amfo described institutional collaboration as a “critical tool for driving impact both nationally and globally.”

‎She stressed that partnerships between academia and industry are not only essential for addressing real-world challenges but are also central to advancing the university’s excellence in teaching, research, and service.

‎”The University of Ghana recognizes the importance of building strong partnerships with industries, governments, civil society organisations, and other academic institutions. These relationships, grounded in mutual respect, catalyse innovation, reintegrate our practices, and amplify our influence. We believe that meaningful partnerships are critical to advancing our mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service. Through these partnerships, we are able to achieve that impact that we expect nationally and globally.”
