Rev. Azigiza set to make return on TV and radio

Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and evangelist Rev. Azigiza Jnr. has announced his much-anticipated return to television and radio.

In an exclusive interview on Joy Prime TV’s morning show hosted by George Quaye, the former media personality revealed that he deeply misses being on air and is gearing up for a return that will focus on gospel programming, with a modern twist.

“I miss radio, I miss TV, and I’ll be coming back. Yes, breaking news,” he disclosed.

Rev. Azigiza Jnr., who transitioned from mainstream entertainment to full-time ministry, hinted that his return will not follow the conventional gospel format. According to him, the upcoming shows will present the Gospel in a “different realm,” appealing to a broader and possibly younger audience.

“Everything I’ll be doing will be gospel, but gospel on another realm. The only challenge I have with people is that they don’t know you can love Christ and still have swag,” he stated.

He also addressed common misconceptions about Christians, adding:

“People think if you’re a Christian, you must be stupid, boring, and archaic.”

Rev. Azigiza’s return is expected to excite many fans who remember him for his energetic presence on radio and television in the early 2000s. His fresh take on gospel broadcasting may signal a new era of Christian media in Ghana.
