Media Personality and Documentary filmmaker Odeliah Ntiamoah has encouraged students to creatively apply their academic knowledge to modern-day challenges through innovation and the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

The conversation followed her donation of her book titled Media Relations: A Guide for CEOs, Politicians, and Pros to Radio Univers, offered as a token of appreciation for the role the station played in her personal and professional growth.

Speaking to Univers News, she urged students to rethink how they approach their studies.

“I think what young people should focus their energy on is studying modern things and how to really fit in.”

“Even if you are doing archaeology, fine arts, or classics, you should ask how to approach archaeology in a modern way and how to create a differentiation for yourself. Life is about making a difference,” she said.

She also reflected on the profound influence Radio Univers has had on her journey as a journalist, describing the station as the foundation of her media career.

“I didn’t have any business with media as a geography student, but this place gave me the breath and foundation I needed,” she said.

Odeliah Ntiamoah who has worked with leading media houses, including TV3, Joy News, Citi FM, African News, and the BBC, credited much of her success to the start she received at Radio Univers.
