Co-founder and CEO of RoomBerl, Clinton Tano, has appealed to the University of Ghana management to consider incorporating RoomBerl into the various UG-managed halls on campus.

Speaking on the Talking Business show on Radio Univers, Clinton Tano explained that the innovation, which was developed to improve students’ experiences by ensuring that room allocations are based on matching personalities and attitudes, serves as a solution to the challenge of students enduring unpleasant or difficult experiences with roommates due to personality mismatches.

“This roommate conflict is something that really goes on, and the problems associated with it are very real. It has affected me personally, so I just want to make student life easier. I want the university and other institutions or student bodies to collaborate with me so we can incorporate RoomBerl into their systems. We’ve considered how their accommodation processes work, and we have systems designed for all such circumstances,” he said.

Clinton Tano further encouraged individuals with ideas to take initiative, emphasizing that ideas rarely come out fully formed and that clarity often emerges through the process of taking action. He urged fellow entrepreneurs to remain consistent and resilient in their pursuits in order to achieve meaningful results.

“Ideas don’t come out fully formed — they only become clear as you work on them. That’s one of the most important lessons I’ve learned. And consistency is key. You can’t figure everything out at the early stage, so just start.”
