Ghanaian gospel musician, Joyce Blessing has revealed that she is currently working on a powerful gospel song featuring rapper D-Black and Highlife singer Kwabena Kwabena.
During an interview on The Afternoon Show on TV3, Joyce Blessing explained that she sees no issue collaborating with secular artists, as their talents also come from God.
“The talent they have is also from God, so we cannot sit here, close our eyes, and say they aren’t from God just because they don’t sing gospel. I’ve previously worked with Kuami Eugene and Joel Ackah, and although there was backlash, the song was later embraced by my fans.”
She added that the upcoming track with D-Black and Kwabena Kwabena would soon be released, highlighting the ongoing collaboration between gospel and secular artists in Ghana’s music industry.
