The Ghanaian champions discovered their opponents for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champion league qualifiers in a draw, which was held at 13h00 Cairo time (10:00 GMT) on Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 at CAF’s headquarters in Egypt.

They were pitted against Omnisports Etincelle from Burkina Faso, AS Garde National from Niger, and Edo Queens of Nigeria, in group B .

This comes after the Doo Ladies secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Women’s Champions of Champions, avenging their previous denial of a continental spot.

To advance to the main competition, Hasaacas Ladies must first navigate the WAFU Zone B Champions League qualifiers, scheduled for August 10-23, 2024, in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Sekondi-based club is expected to follow in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian team Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who won the third edition of the WAFU-B Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Benin City, Nigeria.

Hasaacas Ladies made history as the first team to represent the WAFU Zone B in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League in 2021, finishing as runners-up and producing the top scorer and player of the tournament, Evelyn Badu.

Their first match is set for August 11, 2024, against Omnisports Etincelle. With a talented squad featuring Mukarama Abdulai, Abiba Issah, Veronica Nyame, and Fidous Yakubu, the Doo Ladies are poised for another exciting continental campaign.
