The 2024 general elections have officially ended, with the voting process concluding at 5:00 PM in most polling stations across the country.
Voting commenced at approximately 7:00 AM in many centers, with reports indicating a generally peaceful process despite some isolated incidents and delays.
With polls now closed, sorting and counting of votes have officially begun at various polling stations. Electoral officials, party agents, and observers are stationed to ensure transparency in the process.
The results from polling stations are expected to be collated and transmitted to the constituency and national centers for official declaration in the coming hours.
