All-time top scorer of the Uefa Champions league, Cristiano Ronaldo, was honored by Uefa with an award for his remarkable goalscoring endeavors in the competition.

The award was handed over to the Al-Nassr man by Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin.

Ronaldo, who made his Uefa Champions League debut for Manchester United almost two decades ago, scored 140 times in 183 games.

His goalscoring cut across Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning five Uefa Champions league trophies in the process.

Ronaldo played in six Uefa Champions League finals, winning five and losing one. Pressed upon to single out his favorite title winning campaign, the former Real Madrid man said:

“Well, it’s difficult to pick one but we always mention the first one. The first one is the most special one. I remember when I was in Manchester, i won and I scored in the final too; I missed a penalty too, but it was good. I remember that it was so special,”
