Management of the Ghana Education Service have announced a postponement in its set reopening date for students in Senior High Schools. Ghanaian SHS students were expected to resume academic activities on January 9, 2023, however, this decision has been rescinded as the scheduled date will be observed as a statutory holiday, for Ghana’s 30th celebration of the 1992 Constitution.
The 1992 Constitution is celebrated annually to celebrate the democratic rule of the country, and the role it has played in establishing, distributing and limiting governmental power, while providing mechanisms for deliberating and deciding on public policy.
Heads of Senior High Schools are therefore expected to commence academic work on Tuesday, January 10,2023.
